MBYP Committees


Our committees make all our MBYP Events possible!!
Communications & Marketing Committee-Our Committtee spreads the word out to community about upcoming events. This is done through our website, Linkedin group, flyers and articles in the monthly Sand Dollar.  We also work with the marketing committee to create the MBYP Monthly newsletter and facebook page.

Events Committee - Committee is dedicated to making MBYP more than just a networking organization.  Our goal is to plan fun and exciting events that will help nurture the business relationships of those in our community.  We meet monthly in the late afternoons and plan monthly events.  We also try to secure sponsorships for each event, working alongside MBYP's sponsorship chair.Committee coordinates all professional speaker and business networking events to foster educational growth and new opportunities within MBYP and the community. 

Sponsorship Committee- Committee conducts outreach to potential sponsors for participation in our MBYP sponsorship program. Outreach includes making connections with local businesses as well as global brands that are looking to partner with MBYP and the community. The Sponsorship committee is the main liaison between the MBYP group and our valued event and annual sponsors. Sponsorship funds are disbursed to assist and aid the MBYP, MBCC, the community, and our designated charity, Cheer For Children. Community Committee- The MBYP Community Committee is focused on making an impact in our local South Bay community via both monetary and volunteer contributions.  The Committee manages the relationships with all chosen charities and coordinates all related fundraising and volunteer events.  A majority of MBYP proceeds will benefit selected charitable causes & organizations where the Committee and the Board can make a measurable and meaningful difference within the community.
 
Ambassador Committee - The Committee is responsible for greeting new members at MBYP events, encouraging those people to be more active in MBYP, assisting them in meeting fellow members, and benefiting from being a part of MBYP. Also, following up with people who are interested in joining the group and be a point of contact.
