MBYP Charity 

Every year MBYP chooses a new charity to support through volunteer work, monetary donations, and by raising awareness of their efforts.

In the 2010-11 fiscal year, MBYP provided many volunteer hours and raised over $3,500 for We Can, Pediatric Brain Tumor Network. We Can was founded by a Manhattan Beach resident and offers information and emotional support to families whose children have brain tumors. 

In the 2009-10 fiscal year, MBYP supported Mychal's Learning Place, an after school program that assists children with developmental learning disabilities. A letter from Mychal's founder, Ed Lynch, thanking MBYP for their support can be read below.
